Yellow Iris

This Yellow Iris was taken for it’s clarity and minor imperfections. The shot is totally focused on the flower with a soft Gaussian blur in the background, creating a sprinkle of light from the shadows.
Native to the rich soils of Southern British Columbia, The Yellow Iris, also known as the Yellow Flag Iris reproduces quickly through seed dispersal and creates a beautiful array of flowers in any large garden.
